My Family Culture
The three things I would bring o the desolate island:
A cast iron skillet
Pictures
Phone
The cast iron skillet represents the hearty meals that I love
to cook for my family. Even if I had to cook over an open fire at the new
destination the cast iron skillet would be able to handle it. You can fry, boil,
saute`, and bake with a cast iron skillet. It is all purposeful. Pictures are
priceless and I would not leave them behind. I will need my phone to
communicate with people and there are a lot of apps on my phone that would be
useful as well.
I would be devastated if I had to give up two of my items
and could only keep one, but my phone would be the item that I would keep.
Also, I would quickly take a picture of the picture album that I could no
longer bring with me. That would make me smile.
I realized that food is very important in my family. Good
comfort food will take any anxiety away.
